Hard on the heels of yesterday’s posting on the generations book, I’m also pleased to say that my article: ‘unemployment and the response of the churches: a historical conversation’ appears in the most recent edition of Crucible (July-September 2012), pp. 7-19 (http://www.cruciblejournal.co.uk/).  This is a revised version of a briefing paper written for Workcare (Coventry and Warwickshire’s workplace chaplaincy team) for their 2011 project researching ways in which churches can help young unemployed adults.  You can find the reports from this project on the Workcare website (http://www.workcare.org/welcome.htm).  Some specific pieces of work are emerging as a result of the project, which is very good news.
