Wintry Sunrise

When the alarm went off at ten to seven this morning it was still so dark and with a full moon in the sky that I checked two clocks in the house to make sure the bedroom one hadn’t been set an hour early. By the time I began walking to the station 45 minutes later, there was a superb frosty sunrise of blue and gold with airliners’ vapour trailers streaked orange across the sky. This was taken on my (fairly basic model) mobile phone so the definition isn’t brilliant, but you get the idea.
