I’ve long been a fan of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, ever since reading some of Seebohm Rowntree’s personal papers and spending a few days in the JRF library in York as part of research for an MA back in the mid-1990s.  Their application of research to improving people’s lives still remains a major inspiration for me in what I do.  So, to start 2014, follow this link for a posting summarising some of their key research findings from the past year.
